The NBAPCU is pleased to share information from the New Brunswick Government with regards to the press release issued last week. Post-secondary Education has been included in Phase 1 of the plan to re-open services.
As the Government moves into Phase 1 of Recovery for COVID-19, it is critical that public heath measures are followed to reduce the risk impact of further waves of COVID-19 to the public and to progress towards a ‘new normal’. Some services will open sooner that others depending on level of risk and potential negative impact.
During the recovery phase, it is important to understand that this is NOT business as usual, and that directive and advice outlined will remain in place until the risk is effectively controlled depending upon how the situation with COVID-19 evolves.
Below you will find documentation from the New Brunswick Government that includes a Guidance Document of General Public Heath Measures during COVID-19 Recovery, a Revised Mandatory Order for COVID-19, as well as Guidelines for Practical Training on Campus. We hope that you find this information helpful and that you are able to partially reopen your schools to assist your students in successfully completing their studies.
